CLD’s assignment has three major components: the branding of the conference, the design and production of promotional materials and signage, and the development of an app for the two-day event.
At the initial meeting, 150 people were estimated to attend the conference. The event ends up attracting 278 registered attendees, while the number of sponsors and exhibitors also exceed original estimates.
We commence the project with the creation of the conference visual signature. Aware of the conference’s multilingual facet, the visual proposal employing a graphic treatment of a multicolour banner receives unanimous approval; the design is easily adaptable to various sizes and formats. The brand design of the conference was also chosen to adorn the cover of a report on minority languages published by Reuters.
We handle all the print and digital materials, including invitations, sponsorship kits and online registration forms. We customize the app to match the conference brand and populate it with speech contents, speaker bios and sponsorship/exhibitor credentials. These content elements are also highlighted through the lead-up through prepared email reminders.
We produce directional signage, stage backdrops and animated presentations for digital displays. We print attendee badges and a one-sheet program. Communication materials are created in English and French, with segments in other represented languages. These features all contribute to exceeding expectations.
