The Conseil Scolaire Viamonde manages French-language public schools in the central south-western region of Ontario. It is committed to fostering the ability of all students to learn and reach their full potential in an academic environment that is both inclusive and supportive. Originally brought in by Viamonde to work on a middle-school student retention project highlighting its high schools, CLD saw an opportunity to deliver a broader message.
Working closely with Viamonde, CLD developed a comprehensive marketing framework around the theme “Tout est possible” (Anything is possible) which included graphic and typographical elements chosen to appeal to Viamonde’s main pre-teen audience and parents. Our building-block approach was designed to deliver general information about the school board with each school adding its own information. This system, which incorporates Viamonde’s distinctive primary colour palette, is highly economical and can be uniformly applied across multiple platforms and items.
The campaign not only aims at student retention but also creates a supportive framework for, and cohesive portrait of, the family of schools within the Viamonde community. By taking a broader look at the objective, CLD was able to push Viamonde’s overarching commitment in favour of support and inclusion to another level.
